Limber

All the way down
the narrow way
I met an abandoned boy
who was weeping restlessly.
And through those heaving
breaths, a sigh of relief
managed to escape his lips,
"She left me here to ROT!"
"Really? Well how about that;
did you deserve it?
"Of course not! No-one deserves
to be left alone!"
"Hey look at it this way
at least you learned that
no-one should be left alone."
